Features: Really tall in height as most of the elezen race, pointy pointy ears. As a trained dragoon soldier, he is a professional lancer, soldier, jumper, and parkour. He joined the Scion as a traveler
Likes: Squid, dragons
Hobbies: Traveling, tasting rich foods from other lands
Weakness: Overspending his coinpurse
History: Estinien grew up as the child of a farmer in Ferndale, a farming community outside of Ishgard. His entire village was razed by dragons which started his journey toward becoming the Azure Dragoon.
Estinien lost his family to the dragon Nidhogg's flames and resolved to become an Azure Dragoon to avenge them. At the age of twelve, Estinien was taken in by Alberic Bale, then holder of the title of Azure Dragoon. When his training was complete, Estinien joined the Temple Knights.
So focused was he on the fight against the Dravanian Horde that he scarcely remembered the names of his companions. His sole friendship was with Aymeric de Borel, a knight of similar age who shared Estinien's passion for the cause. Estinien's prowess saw him rise through the ranks, first becoming a dragoon, and later inheriting the title of Azure Dragoon once held by his foster father

Expansion: A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Storm of Blood, Shadowbringers and Endwalker compliant. I don't mince anything in my tags, but I will warn of spoilers within a tag
Backtagging: Absolutely! I can be slow and if I forget a thread just ping me through a PM
Threadhopping: Let me know so I could react accordingly
Fourthwalling: Ask first
Offensive subjects: Unless explained and asked first for the thread. Death, questionable kinks, noncon. I will not ship with anyone underage unless the character specifically aged up
WARRIORS OF LIGHT/OCs/AU/shipping: Depending on the thread, he sees the WoL as Meteor by default and he sees him as a colleague and comrade. If he interacts with someone outside his canon or doing cross-canon shipping, it takes longer to ship as he sees them as a colleague or comrade. I'm open to M/F and M/M either as a top or bottom. My favorite ships is Estinien/Aymeric, Estinien/Alphinaud (granted he's aged up)
But I'm absolutely down for shipping with your WoL ocs and he'll recall them basing on the canon portrayal or your AU portrayal and what timeline of the patch you pull them from. You could always AU your character within the Final Fantasy 14-verse and voila, onto the ship. This version will gravitate toward Elezen, miqo'te, viera, human, or au ra races in shipping though. Even dragon shifters.
I will not ship with lalafells, roegadyn, or hrothgars. Sorry just a personal squick and preference? We're good as friends, comrades, party members.

Warnings: The series explore three apocalypses which is a planetary disaster. Also death, violence, suicide, sacrifice, genocide, wars, and one can describe as a zombie apocalypse. Estinien is also a Dravanian specialist in the history and research of dragons and their history where atrocities were commited such as slavery of races that were deem inferior, dravancide (dragon-race genocide), experimentation on captives, war torture, ritual sacrifice.
Most of these he won't discuss at length unless asked and I'll try to remember to warn.

If your character comes from a different canon, just AU them as the WoL or within the setting and world of the game. Easy.
- Pet Person meme
As a pet: Dark grey stripes markings/white fur tabby cat, wolf, fox, or dragon (kinda like a winged Au Ra) with horns and scaly tail
As the owner: He's doting and affectionate as an owner
Kink-wise: Looking for gentle and soft, so cuddles and kisses are on the table. Kinks are heats, loyalty, Master/Pet, breeding, just to name a few etc.
- Fantasy/RPG AU
In roles where he plays as a dragon-shifter, a scholarly mage, a wizard, dragoon, a healer, paladin etc
- Modern day / slice of life
- Fantasy Farming AU: Like rune factory, stardew valley, harvest moon, but I can add some fantasy elements like magick and monster-taming
- Marriage/Domestic AU
Based on the domestic smut meme, a very scholary tsundere husband
